I’ve been a food enthusiast for as long as I can remember. Some of my fondest childhood memories involve my Dad taking us out to eat on weekends. I loved opening a menu and discovering unique and diverse food options. And then, of course, the best part was trying all the different items, while everyone laughed and enjoyed a good meal together. This passion for food has stayed with me over the years.
I’m not a professional chef, and I’m not particularly skilled at cooking, but I’m just an average guy who loves trying new food! I’ve lived in Columbus, Georgia for most of my life, and I’ve witnessed the city’s impressive food scene grow over the last decade. For years, Columbus mostly consisted of franchises and big chain restaurants. But now, there’s so much more to discover.
Our Mission
Columbus Georgia Eats started when a few friends convinced me to create an Instagram account to share pictures of all the food I was trying at local restaurants. To my surprise, it began to take off, and within a few months, Columbus Georgia Eats hit almost 2,000 subscribers and is still growing fast.
Today, our mission is to connect people with great local restaurants, promote local food events, and celebrate the food culture in Columbus. We’re excited to introduce people to new restaurants, great food, and support local businesses here in Columbus, Georgia.
